Lori Talbot, MD

Dr. Talbot and her husband Keith moved to Cumberland County in 1989. She was a staff physician with Complete Care and ultimately served as its Medical Director for 5 years before joining South Cumberland Medical Associates in 2002. She grew up in Florida where she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Microbiology. She then attended the University of South Florida Medical School and the Medical College of Virginia, graduating with her MD in l984. She did her 3-year Family Residency at the Medical Center of Delaware and worked for several years at the University of Delaware before joining Complete Care.

Dr. Talbot has been committed to providing medical care to the underserved and Migrant Farmworker Communities for decades and continues to have a weekly clinic for the local farm workers every summer.

Her professional interests include pediatric care and care for the elderly and terminally ill. In 2012 she received the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hospice and Palliative Care after working several years with the in-patient hospice unit at Bridgeton Hospital She also is a strong believer in preventative health care and emphasizes wellness and exercise at each visit.

She has maintained her Board Certification in Family Medicine, retaking her boards every 10 years.
